PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF INDICATORS OF THE ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF MINERAL RESERVES IN BUSINESS OPERATIONS OF THE MINERAL SECTORCOMPANIES

Abstract

The complexity of the businessconditions of the mineral sector companiesrequires the application of various data andinformation dominantly related to geological,mining, technological and economic aspects ofoperations. The special complexity is reflected inthe interrelation between the mentioned aspects,which appears in the geological-economic analysisof the conditions and method of utilization ofmineral reserves from the deposit and theperception of the profitability of such work. Asignificant part of the analyzed factors andindicators of the economic evaluation of thedeposits by the analytical basis is related to thevariability of the qualitative and quantitativecharacteristics of the mineral reserves, which hassignificant consequences on the balance ofreserves and the degree of economic viability oftheir valorization. The complete coverage ofrelevant factor and indicator information iscarried out through the appropriate method ofgeological and economic analysis, the finalexpression of which is the economic evaluation ofmineral reserves. These data and information areparticularly relevant for making appropriatebusiness decisions in the operations of the mineralsector companies.
